ABOUT BROTHER BREWER

Brother Lewis Brewer Jr. hails from Westbury, NY and graduated from Westbury High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Science with a minor in Mathematics in 1994 from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia. He was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated through the Iota Chapter on November 24, 1991. Brother Brewer served as the 17th District Director of the Texas Council of Alpha Chapters.

Professionally, he has over 25 years of government service. Brother Brewer currently works for the United States Marshals Service as a Technical Specialist. Fraternally, he has 33 years of membership in Alpha and has served in various capacities on the local, district, regional and national levels of the Fraternity. He is totally committed to serving the community.

Brother Brewer is a loving father of two children; his son Andrew, who was initiated into Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. through the Eta Gamma Chapter, is an Alumnus of Prairie View University A&M in Prairie View, TX and his daughter Kennedy, is in her 2nd year of college at Collin Community College in Plano, TX. He lives by his motto: “Life is about changes and sacrifices; you must be able to make them in order to succeed.”
